Welcome to BanhuaRevolver.com

Banhua – Basically means Asian inspired Bahamian Comics (manga , manhua) hence the name Banhua.  Our fellow peers from www.thecageclub.com came up with the name and although it is Chinese in origin we had a vote on which term could best represents us.  It was between Banga (which sounds awfully close to those reptile humanoids from FFXII) or Banhua we went with the latter and thus started the revolution known as the Banhua Revolver in my country, The Bahamas.

Now here’s where it gets interesting.  We’re working on starting a Banhua compilation magazine ( kinda like Shonen Jump or Tokyo Pop) but not in print form…no, not just yet.  For now, we’ve come together to try this in a more ‘trial and error’ run which is where the BanhuaRevolver.com comes in.  We’ve allocated six chambers slots  [of a revolver] in which myself and 5 other artist will present what they assume best represents them and our country in Banhau/Manga/Comic form with the BanhuaRevoler.com hosting our collaborative efforts.

Six comics,  six artists, this website will basically be used to garner feedback on which of the comics are likable.  As for the unlucky ones well…let’s just say it’ll be a game of Russian Roulette anyone can get shot out of the barrel.
